Reading for TypeCourse Length: 1 day (usu. 9am-4.30pm) What the course is about: This course uses a Type lens to interpret documents such as articles, interviews and opinion pieces from newspapers, magazines and other public media. Its purpose is to gain insights into the people and ideas involved or described, and to seek general cues and patterns for specific type responses. Methods of communication, discussion and even refutation will be discussed.Suitable for: Accredited type instrument users and others with a knowledge of type and an interest in its use as an interpreter of humans in society. At the end of the course: Participants will:
Course preparation and materials: Reading material on an advertised topic will be distributed prior to the course. Participants are encouraged to contribute their own topic-related material for discussion. |
